20-Year-Old Man Shot To Death In Hawthorne
HAWTHORNE (CBS) — A 20-year-old man was killed Sunday night during an apparent gang-related shooting in Hawthorne, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at 9:26 p.m. in front of an apartment complex in the13500 block of South Yukon Avenue, sheriff's Deputy Benjamin Grubb said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, he said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department was assisting the Hawthorne Police Department with its investigation, he said.
The victim's name has not been released.
