2 Workers Injured In Amtrak Train Yard Accident
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Two workers have been taken to a hospital after they were injured at an Amtrak train yard near downtown Los Angeles.
Authorities said the workers were on a rolling work cart that got caught between two moving trains early Tuesday. The cart was destroyed.
The accident occurred at the East 8th Street Amtrak mechanical department rail facility.
The incident remained under investigation.
