2 Wanted For Throwing Gas On Trucker, Setting Truck On Fire
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Police are looking for two people who doused a trucker with gasoline in an Anaheim park and then set his vehicle on fire.
The non-injury incident happened around 1:05 a.m. in the parking lot of Pioneer Park, 2565 E. Underhill Ave., police said.
The victim was sleeping in his truck with the window rolled down when gas was thrown on him, according to Anaheim police. The victim got out to chase his attacker, when another person stole the victim's belongings before setting his truck on fire.
The trucker was treated at the scene by paramedics for having fluids thrown on him, police said.
Descriptions of the suspects were not immediately released.
The incident is the second in as many days involving a person being doused with gasoline. A mother of seven in South Los Angeles was doused with gasoline and set on fire in broad daylight and remains in critical condition.
