2 Teens In Grave Condition Following Sylmar House Fire
SYLMAR (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said Saturday two teens are in grave condition following a house fire in Sylmar.
The two teens, one 17 and one 19, both males, suffered serious burns, according to a city fire official.
The fire was reported just after 6:50 p.m. in a home in the 13700 block of Sproule Avenue, according to Katherine Main of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived to battle the blaze, they learned four people had already escaped the single family dwelling.
Officials said a 21-year-old man was also hospitalized in serious condition. Another man, age unknown, was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries, said Main.
