2 Teen Boys Shot, 1 Dead In Lynwood
LYNWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators are on the scene of a shooting in Lynwood that left a 17-year-old boy dead and another teenage boy wounded.
Sheriff's Deputy Guillermina Saldana said the shooting happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Saldana says one boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to a hospital for treatment but his condition is unknown.
No further details were immediately available.
Lynwood is about 10 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.
