2 Suspects Make Off With Gas Station ATM In Pomona

POMONA (CBS) — Two suspects backed into an ATM at a gas station in Pomona early Thursday morning and drove off with it in the back of their truck, police said.

The theft occurred just before 4 a.m. at the 76 station located at 989 N. Garey Ave., according to the Pomona Police Department.

The suspects backed a gray or silver 1992 to 1999 Chevrolet Suburban into the free-standing automated teller machine, which was bolted to concrete outside the station, police said.

The two then got out, put the machine into the back of the sport utility vehicle and drove away, police said. They were last seen headed northbound on Garey Avenue.

Police asked anyone with information regarding the theft to contact detectives at (909) 620-2085.
