2 Suspected Armed Robbers Escape After Shooting Bellflower Store Clerk
BELLFLOWER (CBSLA.com) — Two robbers shot a store clerk Tuesday evening in Bellflower, sheriff's department officials said.
Authorities said two men entered a liquor store intending to rob the merchant in the 14300 block of Bellflower Blvd. near Rosecrans Ave. They reportedly shot the clerk and fled, escaping the scene.
The victim was transported to the hospital and is said to be in "extremely critical" condition, according to L.A. County Fire.
Robbery detectives and homicide detectives were on the scene trying to piece together clues about the suspects, who were described only as male.
No other details were immediately available.
