2 Shot, 1 Critically, Outside Nail Salon Near Beverly Hills
WEST LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Investigators are searching for the shooter who injured two people outside a nail salon, one critically, in the Pico-Robertson area Monday morning.
Police officers responding to a report of a shooting arrived to find a man badly hurt and a woman shot in the leg outside a business in the 1500 block of La Cienega, near Beverly Hills, Officer Sara Faden of LAPD Media Relations said.
A woman and a thin man wearing a vest were seen running away, Faden said.
The woman with the leg wound was taken Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The man, who was shot in the upper body, was listed in critical condition. Both were in their 20s. Police would not release their identities.
Police did not say if the victims were robbed, or what may have motivated the attack.
