2 Separate Fights Erupt At Orange County Polling Places
GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — Election officials say there were at least two reports of fights erupting at polling places in Orange County.
Neal Kelly, the Registrar/Recorder of Orange County, said he's had to play "peacekeeper" after two "small" incidents Tuesday morning.
Two voters began fighting at a polling place at Suh-Moon Church in Garden Grove. Kelly said the fight was not related to the election and there were no arrests.
But in Tustin, someone became upset and began arguing with a poll worker who took down campaign signs near the polling place at Columbus Grove. Other voters had become upset that the signs were posted.
Otherwise, Kelly said, it was a quiet morning.
