2 Powerball Tickets In Calif. Have 5 Of 6 Numbers
SAN JOSE (CBS/AP) — California Lottery officials say two people are holding winning lottery tickets worth $2,309,228 after their Powerball tickets matched five of six winning numbers.
Officials say one of the winning tickets was sold at a 7-Eleven convenience store at 1124 6th Street in Taft. The other was sold at a 7-Eleven in San Jose.
National lottery officials say one ticket bearing all six winning numbers was sold in Florida, with the winning ticket worth an estimated $590.5 million — the highest Powerball jackpot in history.
Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, lottery officials said.
