2 Pedestrians Hurt In East LA Hit-And-Run Crash
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The search was under way Saturday for a driver of a green sedan who left two pedestrians injured in a crash in East Los Angeles.
The accident near Indiana and Verona streets occurred about 9:45 p.m. Friday, said CHP Officer Anthony Martin.
One of the victim's injuries were reportedly described by the CHP as major, while the other had moderate injuries. Both were being treated as County-USC Medical Center.
The suspect vehicle was last seen going north toward Whittier Boulevard, according to the CHP.
Saturday evening, Greg Mills reported for CBS2 and KCAL9, that one of the victims remained hospitalized.
