2 Men Shot At Park In Sylmar
SYLMAR (CBSLA.com) — Two men were shot at a park in the San Fernando Valley Thursday afternoon, police reported.
The shooting took place at 3:30 p.m. at the Sylmar Recreation Center, located at 13100 Borden Avenue, according to LAPD Officer Bruce Borihanh said.
Officers don't believe either victim was a student at Sylmar High School, which sits across the street from the park.
Authorities did not identify the victims, both said to be in their 20s.
City News Service claimed the shooting was gang-related and that officers arrested three suspects and looking for another one.
The investigation is ongoing.
