Driver and Passenger Argue On 91 Freeway, Leading To Crash That Kills 2
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — A man and his girlfriend's 7-year-old son were killed Monday after an argument prompted an accident on the 91 Freeway in Anaheim, the California Highway Patrol said.
Mario Lopez Alaniz, 25, was riding in the front passenger seat of a 2003 Isuzu at around 12:40 a.m. when he grabbed the wheel of the vehicle, which was being driven by 41-year-old Ana Granados.

"The driver said her and her right-front passenger had been arguing and that he grabbed the steering wheel and then yanked it to the right. And, subsequently, she lost control of the vehicle," CHP Officer Stacy Willits said.
The vehicle went off the freeway, down an embankment and into a tree.
Alaniz was pronounced dead at the scene.
Granados' son, 7-year-old Angel, was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center, where he died from his injuries around 1:20 a.m., the Orange County Coroner said.
Granados suffered moderate injuries.
Family members and neighbors gathered at Granados' apartment Monday afternoon in mourning.
"[Angel] was a fun-loving boy. He like, talked to everybody and he liked to play. He used to come out with no shoes a lot and we used to say, 'Why are you coming out with no shoes?' He just had a very happy nature," neighbor Dawn Cornell said.
