2 Killed, 2 Wounded In Shooting At Backyard Barbecue In South LA
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Two people were killed and two others wounded when someone fired shots at a backyard barbecue in unincorporated South Los Angeles.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Mary Leef says the victims were in the backyard of a home when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up in front. One of the occupants opened fire with a rifle.
One man died at the scene. City News Service reports paramedics rushed a 16-year-old boy to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Two other men were also treated at a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.
Authorities have made no arrests. Leef says a motive for the shooting has yet to be established.
