2 Injured In Small Plane Crash At Corona Airport
CORONA (CBS/AP) — Authorities say a small plane has crashed into a hangar at Corona Municipal Airport, injuring a flight instructor and a student pilot.
Ian Gregor of the Federal Aviation Administration says the single-engine Cessna 150 was trying to take off when it crashed at around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Gregor says it's unclear who was at the controls.
There's no word yet on what caused the crash or how badly the two occupants were injured. Both were hospitalized.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the accident. The plane is registered to Bedrock Investments, LLC from Cheyenne, WY.
