2 Home Invasion Robbers Who Allegedly Beat Hollywood Hills Resident Remain At Large
HOLLYWOOD HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said the two home invasion robbers who allegedly beat a Hollywood Hills resident remained at large Sunday.
The suspects -- one wearing a ski mask, the other a bandana -- entered a home in the 2600 block of Astral Drive about 3:35 a.m. Saturday, according to Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations section.
The suspects demanded property and a victim was beaten with a gun, police said. The duo fled in a Nissan Maxima, Herrera said. She had no information about the car's color and no specific suspect description.
The victim was taken to a hospital in good condition, Herrera said.
Another person in the home suffered a sprained ankle fleeing the robbery, according to a broadcast report.
It was also reported that the suspects made off with a large amount of marijuana that was believed to have been grown in the home suggesting the victim might have been targeted.
Herrera said she could not confirm the reported ankle injury or marijuana theft.
