2 Gunmen At Large After Deadly Shooting In Jefferson Park
JEFFERSON PARK (CBS) — The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting in Jefferson Park.
Authorities are searching for two possible gunmen after a man was fatally shot in his home at 11 p.m. Monday night.
The victim was struck several times in the chest in front of his live-in girlfriend before being pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Roughly 15 residences were evacuated as authorities searched for the gunmen, who may have run into a nearby apartment complex.
Those residents were allowed to return at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday when police deemed their homes safe.
The gunmen remain at large and the shooting is under investigation.
