2 Dead, 2 Bystanders Injured In San Bernardino Park Shooting
SAN BERNARDINO (CBS) — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting at a park that left two men dead and two innocent bystanders injured.
The shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot at the Dellman Heights Recreational Center in San Bernardino, authorities said.
Police believe the shooting was prompted by an argument between Ramiro Aguilar,35, and 31-year-old Corey Broussard.
Both men were shot in the chest by an unknown suspect and taken to a local hospital where they died from their injuries.
Luisa Villalobos, 49, and 20-year-old Watani Richardson were also injured in the shooting. Police say they were innocent bystanders who happened to be in the parking lot at the time.
Villalobos was shot in the head while sitting in her car. She is listed in grave condition at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, police said.
Richardson was treated and released from an area hospital for a gunshot wound to the foot.
Police believe there were many witnesses to the crime.
"At the time of the shooting, there were numerous people in the parking lot. There was also a baseball game being played and a barbeque with music taking place," police said.
San Bernardino police recovered a handgun from the scene believed to have been used in the shooting.
