2 Boys Reunited With Mother After Being Abducted In Anaheim
ANAHEIM (CBS) — Authorities say two small boys who were abducted last month from Anaheim were reunited with their mother and have returned home.
Police Sgt. Rick Martinez said the grandmother of 2-year-old Justin and 4-year-old Jacob Quinones took the boys to a courthouse in Harris County, Texas on October 26th.
Elizabeth Fernandez was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping on an Orange County warrant, Martinez said. She was being held by Harris County sheriff's officials Friday on $1 million bail.
Their father — 23-year-old Abraham Fernandez — surrendered in Harris County and is charged with two felony counts of kidnapping and two felony counts of child abduction.
Police are still seeking the boys' grandfather, Louis Fernandez, who has also been charged with kidnapping.
Police say the men pulled up in a van and took the boys from the mother at their Anaheim apartment complex on Oct. 7.
