"We do have a couple detectives at the hospital talking to the one victim. He suffered a laceration to his head as a result of the robbery. We don't know if he was pistol-whipped or beaten, but he did suffer an injury," Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.
When officers arrived on scene, they saw the three suspects fleeing the residence in a vehicle and a brief chase ensued.
The pursuit ended just south of Concord Street, less than a mile from the home, where two of the suspects were taken into custody. A gun was also recovered.
A third person was seen running from the moving vehicle as it made a left turn near the 134 Freeway, authorities said. He was described as a black male, 6 feet tall, wearing a white shirt and black pants.
The SWAT team and a K-9 unit searched for the outstanding suspect and locked down a neighborhood in West Glendale.
