19-Year-Old Turns Himself In As Suspect In Santa Ana Murder

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) —  Authorities said a 19-year-old returned to the scene of a Santa Ana homicide and turned himself in as the suspect.

Police were alerted to a home in the 600 block of North Daisy Avenue around 2 p.m. when someone said they heard screams coming from the residence.

Santa Ana Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said officers responded and found the body of a middle-aged man.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene, he said.

Hours later, while investigating, a 19-year-old returned to the home and turned himself in.

No further details were made available including the victim's cause of death or the relationship between suspect and victim, if any.
