And you thought Southern California SigAlerts were inconvenient.  In Shaoyang, China,  passengers onboard Shi Shao's bus had to convince him, it really would be best to pull over stop where he was, rather than continue driving with no back end.
 
He thought his suspension needed a check-up, because he'd hit a pothole. They told him seeing the axle in the road behind them, and feeling the rear of the floor starting to burn were good enough signs for them. I am assuming the bus was front-wheel drive: perhaps it still is.
 
The resulting wait led to a three-hour back-up during rush hour. Or as we call it here in L.A. "Tuesday."
