10th Floor Apartment In Park La Brea High-Rise Goes Up In Flames
PARK LA BREA (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters Friday knocked down a blaze at a unit in a residential high-rise in Park La Brea.
The fire broke out at a 10th floor unit of Tower 34 located in the 400 block of S. Fuller Avenue about 4:44 p.m., according to Brian Humphrey, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they reported that one unit had been fully engulfed in flames.
Officials said the blaze, which was confined to the unit and a bathroom, was knocked down in about 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported, according to Humphrey.
There was no word yet on the extent of damage caused to the unit.
