10,000 Jobs Up For Grabs At OC Career Expo

ANAHEIM (CBS) — Thousands of people looking for work will be headed for Orange County on Thursday for what's been billed as the largest career event ever held in the Southland.

Hundreds of employers in career fields ranging from accounting to health care and information technology are looking for candidates to fill over 10,000 positions at the aptly-named "10,000 Best Jobs Expo" at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.

Amir Sadehi with Best Jobs Magazine tells KNX 1070 this isn't your average career fair.

Sadehi says some of the nation's biggest employers will be offering opportunities at the all-day event, including TRG Verizon Wireless, U-Haul, Chevron, Goodwill, DeVry, Carmax, Best Buy, and UPS.
