1 Suspect Injured, 3 Detained After Officer-Involved Shooting In Inglewood
INGLEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A suspect was injured Monday in an officer-involved shooting in Inglewood.
The incident took place just after 2 a.m. in the 900 block of Ash Avenue, officials said.
Officers were on patrol in the area when they heard gunfire and located an alleged victim of a drive-by shooting.
They then encountered four people believed to be involved in the crime when the officer-involved shooting occurred.
At least one suspect was struck and transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
A search that included K-9s ensued and three other suspects were taken into custody.
It was unclear what led to the shooting.
