Woman Stabbed With Screwdriver At Gas Station In La Puente
LA PUENTE (CBSLA.com) — A woman was stabbed with a screwdriver Monday night at a gas station in La Puente.
Around 8 p.m., the victim, described to be a transient, arrived to a Valero pump in the 13700 block of East Amar Road and asked the attendant to call 911.
KCAL9's Brittney Hopper reported that another homeless person stabbed the woman, who was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
Amar was closed for two blocks in both directions as police investigated the incident.
