1 Person Killed In Crash On The 5 Freeway
SUN VALLEY (CBS) — A motorist was killed Friday in a crash on the Golden State (5) Freeway, a California Highway Patrol officer reported.
The crash, in Sun Valley, was reported at 1:53 p.m. on the southbound 5 just north of Sheldon Street, said CHP Officer Monica Posada.
"I have one confirmed fatality and one vehicle involved so far," Posada said. "We do not know if any other vehicles were involved or if there are any other injuries yet."
Two right lanes were closed in the area during the investigation, Posada said.
