1 Of 3 Suspects Remains At Large Following Bellflower Home Invasion
BELLFLOWER (CBSLA.com) — A search continued on Saturday for the third suspect wanted in connection with a home invasion in Bellflower.
A statement by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said that deputies responded to a burglary in progress call at 9:20 p.m. Friday. The incident was reported at a home in the 9100 block of Mayne Street.
Upon arriving on scene, the two victims told authorities that three black men had entered the home and duct-taped their hands together. The victims said the suspects fled as deputies were arriving.
"Preliminary investigation revealed the suspects may have followed one of the victims (a female adult) home from a casino," the statement said.
A family member in another part of the home reportedly called police.
Two of the suspects were located soon after and two handguns were recovered.
