Man Killed On Hoover On-Ramp To EB 10 Freeway Near Mid-City
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — At least one person was killed Wednesday in a crash on an on-ramp to the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway, west of downtown Los Angeles.
The two-car crash happened at about 6 a.m. at Hoover Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man, whose age or city of residence was not released, was declared dead at the scene.
Authorities say the man was struck by a car and killed when he got out of a vehicle that was involved in a traffic collision.
The Hoover Street on-ramp to the eastbound freeway was closed while authorities conducted an investigation.
