1 Killed In Baldwin Park Metrolink Crash
BALDWIN PARK (CBS) — One person was killed Monday when a Metrolink train struck a vehicle in Baldwin Park.
Train number 304 was heading from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles to San Bernardino when the crash occurred about 9:35 a.m. at Francisquito Avenue, said Sherita Coffelt of Metrolink.
A person in the vehicle was killed and two passengers on the train were hospitalized, Coffelt said.
Trains were halted in the area, and Metrolink was using buses to transport passengers around the area.
