1 Killed, 1 Injured In Explosion At Monclair Duplex
MONTCLAIR (CBS) — One person was killed Friday night in an explosion at a duplex in Montclair.
Dispatch received a call of the explosion at a home near Mission Boulevard just before 10 p.m., according to investigators.
Upon arrival, crews discovered one man who had suffered burn wounds and another victim who was deceased inside the home.
Although authorities have not disclosed the identity of the person who died, neighbors at the scene told CBS2's Jeff Nguyen that it was a woman.
The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
