1 Dead After Car Crashes Into Pole, Splits In Half In Pasadena
PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — A man in his 20s was killed early Monday morning when his car crashed into a pole and split in half, officials reported.
The traffic accident occurred at 2:45 a.m. on Del Mar Boulevard near Hill Avenue.
Officials have closed Del Mar Boulevard between Holliston and Hill avenues while they investigate the cause of the crash and remove the wreckage.
According to the coroner's office, the young man died at the scene.
His identity will not be released until his family has been notified.
