1 Dead After Big Rig Jackknifes, Catches Fire On Interstate 5 Near Pyramid Lake
CASTAIC (CBSLA.com) — One person was killed Thursday morning when a big rig jackknifed and caught fire near Pyramid Lake on Interstate 5.
The crash took place around 12 a.m. near Vista del Lago Road.
A second vehicle also sustained damage in the accident, but it wasn't immediately clear if anyone else was injured.
All but one lane remained closed.
No other details were immediately available.
