1 Dead, 2 Injured In South LA Shooting
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (AP) — Police investigators say gunmen walked up to a car that stopped outside a South Los Angeles home and opened fire, killing one man and wounding two others.
Hours after the Monday night shootings at 98th and Figueroa streets, two men were being questioned at the Los Angeles police Southeast Station. Lt. Lisa Wernli tells City News Service they are detained for questioning and haven't been arrested.
Investigators say the three victims were in a car that pulled up to a house and two gunmen walked up and started shooting into the car. One man died at the scene and two others are hospitalized.
Names haven't been released.
