1 Dead, 2 Wounded In Baldwin Park Shooting
BALDWIN PARK (CBSLA.com) — A man was killed and two others wounded in a shooting early Friday morning in Baldwin Park.
The shooting occurred just after 1 a.m. in the 3800 block of Main Avenue, Los Angeles County Sheriff's officials said.
When authorities arrived, they found three males suffering from gunshot wounds.
"We discovered a vehicle that had been shot. Inside the vehicle there were three males who has also been shot," a detective said.
A 22-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene, investigators said. The surviving victims were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Sheriff's detectives are aiding Baldwin Park police in the investigation.
Officials believe the shooting is gang-related.
