Kaiser Permanente Women's Fitness Festival, 7am

The 19th annual Kaiser Permanente Women’s Fitness Festival in downtown Sacramento is a one-of-a-kind all women’s fitness event that includes a women's 5k and 10k race along with a Princess ½-mile event, and a 5k and 10k race for girls 12 and under. The Kaiser Permanente Thrive Pavilion will feature health information and screenings. Kaiser Permanente is also proud to serve as the official medical team for the event with physicians and staff providing medical attention to those in need. The race is organized by Fleet Feet Sacramento and all race proceeds will benefit WEAVE (Women Escaping a Violent Environment).

Cody's Caravan: Sacramento River Cruise, 7am

In this Sacramento River Cruise, we’ll sail past Old Sacramento's famous historical sites, including the Delta King, the I Street Bridge, the Tower Bridge, and the Air Force Docks. As we tour, we’ll hear fascinating stories—from John Sutter, the founder of Sacramento to the wild days of the Gold Rush. California's capital city is filled with lively history and beautiful sights, and you’ll have the perfect view on this cruise.

New In The Neighborhood: Licked, 9am

Oak Park's newest ice cream shop is more than just a place to grab something sweet. The owner of Licked also owns Strapping across the street and decided to open an ice cream shop because the closure of the previous tenant (Conscious Creamery) was affecting the flow of business in the neighborhood and causing other businesses to consider closing as well. Susan wants to see Oak Park continue to thrive, because this neighborhood has her heart.
