Police: Uncle In Custody Accused Of Kidnapping Nephew, 10, In Roseville; Boy Found Safe
ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — Roseville police said a 10-year-old boy was located safe and his uncle is in custody after the child was allegedly kidnapped Thursday morning.
As of Thursday evening around 7 p.m., Roseville police said the two were spotted by another driver traveling westbound along Interstate 80 near Dixon. The child was located safely by authorities during a traffic stop by CHP, police said, and the uncle was taken into custody.
Authorities said Izaivion Powell-Zeno, 10, was taken by his uncle, Michael Zeno, 27, who is suspected of physically assaulting the boy's parents and taking the child against his will, the Roseville Police Department said. The California Highway Patrol sent out an Endangered Missing Advisory at around 4:50 p.m. on Thursday.

Police said the incident was resolved with the assistance of the CHP, FBI and the public. Police said a citizen reported spotting the two near the Arden Fair mall Thursday evening. The uncle may suffer from mental health issues, police say.
