"The Handmaid's Tale" follows June, one of the few fertile women left in Gilead, a totalitarian society obsessed with producing children. Gilead is a theocracy consisting of much of the former United States where patriarchy rules and women are barred from owning property, making their own decisions or even reading. Bradley Whitford, Yvonne Strahovski, Max Minghella, O-T Fagbenle and Samira Wiley star alongside Moss.
The newest season picks up after the brutal ending of Season 4, with June facing the consequences of her bold choices. Meanwhile, Serena struggles to revamp her reputation in Toronto as Gilead begins to influence Canada.
