We've all seen the Southfork Ranch on the television show Dallas. However, did you know there were two Southforks? The pilot episode and the first five shows were shot at the Box Ranch in Frisco. Cloyce Box raised his four boys on that ranch before and after CBS Television got an eye for it.
"It was just a wonderful place to grow up. We lived that whole Giant big Texas lifestyle" said Doug Box.
Doug has written a book about the rise and eventual fall of his families success in the oil and gas business. Cutter Frisco chronicles Doug's life growing up on the Box Ranch and the days of television fame.
