Stonebriar Centre Mall To Close Ice Rink
FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) - "The Ice", the ice skating rink located at the Stonebriar Centre Mall in Frisco, is schedule to close July 31st.
The ice rink has been a fixture since the mall opened in 2000 offering skating lessons, hosting youth hockey games and figure skating performances.
A spokesperson for Stonebriar Center says customers wanted more retail space. In closing the rink, and following renovation, the mall will gain two floors of retail space.
The names of the stores that will be moving into the refurbished area has not been released.
The rink is owned by the mall and operated by Rink Management Services Corporation of Virginia.
