State Fair Of Texas Celebrates 125 Years This Fall
DALLAS (AP) - The State Fair of Texas is using its 125th birthday to celebrate its heritage.
Fair officials in Dallas on Monday announced the theme of this fall's expo will be "125 Years: A Timeless Tradition."
The 2011 fair runs Sept. 30 through Oct. 23 and is scheduled to feature more than 70 rides, 200 food locations, livestock shows and college football in the Cotton Bowl.
Prairie View A&M will face Grambling State on Saturday, Oct. 1. The Texas vs. Oklahoma football game is Saturday, Oct. 8.
