Rates: All rates are sold as packages and include lodging and amenities, plus a Zagat Award winning 3 course dinner and Rough Creek's Signature Breakfast daily. Rates start at $270 per person, per day Sunday through Thursday, and start at $310 per person, per day Friday and Saturday.

Choose Your Accommodations
At Rough Creek you have the choice of staying in the Main Lodge, a cabin, or a guesthouse. The 51 rooms and suites in the Main Lodge come with 5 star service and private balconies where you can sit on a rocking chair and take in the view of Mallard Lake. There are 4 cabins ½ mile away from the Main Lodge for visitors looking for a bit of a camping experience (not without high-end amenities like whirlpool tubs and wireless internet access, though). For those who want a truly private experience with all the 5 star service the Main Lodge has to offer, two private guesthouses are available. One even has it's own private lake.

Stay Active… or Not

If you're not content to check in and kick your feet up all weekend, there's plenty to keep your interest and your heart rate up during your stay. The 45 foot tall climbing wall and the 650 foot long zip line are sure to satisfy the thrill seeker in you, and the fitness center, tennis and basketball courts can help you break a sweat.

Okay, you really just want to relax? Well, you're more than covered in that area, too. No upscale retreat is complete without a spa, and you'll find one at Rough Creek. You can also cool off in the Lazy River family pool or the adult pool (seasonal), or take a hayride and take in the scenery.

Speaking of Scenery, Bring Your Camera
DFW area photographer Jessica Marchetti says, "The entire facility is one giant photo opportunity. You can get images with horses and wildlife, trees, wooded areas, indoors, everything!" The 5 mile nature trail may have you snapping pictures of all the natural beauty, while the catch and release fishing on the dock at Mallard Lake can help you capture that look of surprise on your daughter's face when she catches her first fish.

Bring The Kids
If it's a family getaway you're looking for, Rough Creek has something for everyone. Enjoy the petting zoo, make s'mores and go biking as a family. Then drop the kids off at the Kids Ranch Game Room weekend nights for supervised activities (young children must be potty trained), and escape to dinner for some quiet adult time. This is another perk that's included in the package rate of your stay.
