MIDLOTHIAN (CBS11) - Brandon Bevers sobbed loudly as he embraced friends at a vigil for his murdered wife.
"You guys... You guys embody the spirit of my wife," he told the crowd of about 200 people outside Long Branch Elementary, where his daughter attends school.
Bevers spoke briefly, describing his wife's passion for fitness and the respect she earned from those in her Camp Gladiator community.
"I wasn't very good at praising my wife for what she did, and that's one of my regrets," he said.
Police released a second video Tuesday of the suspect believed to have murdered Terri "Missy" Bevers as she prepared to lead a class early yesterday at the Creekside Church of Christ.
A helmet and police jacket disguise the intruder's appearance, but investigators hope someone will recognize the suspect's walk or stature.
"There's just a very distinct mannerism about this person that should be very apparent to somebody," said Bevers.
Tarleton State University criminology professor Dr. Alex Del Carmen says the suspect's gait could be a familiar trait.
"It just has a different type of walk than most males would," said Del Carmen.
He warns, though, the suspect appears to have carefully planned out the crime and his disguise.
"Perhaps even staged the way that person would walk to try to make sure authorities would focus on that particular area, as opposed to other things," said Dr. Del Carmen.
Still, he says he's confident the suspect will likely be caught... a hope Bevers' family and friends all share.
