DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The State Fair of Texas is out with its annual list of deep-fried treats, including such concoctions as fried cactus, fried bacon cinnamon rolls, and a fried Mac-N-Cheese slider.

A Labor Day competition will be held to determine which of the artery-clogging foods is judged best in the state.

Among the other entries judges will be choosing from:

Deep-Fried Divine Chocolate Tres Leches Cake
Deep Fried Jambalaya
Fried Mexican Fire Crackers
Picnic on a Stick
Fried Pork Wing

Last year's winners included fried bubblegum and a buffalo chicken flapjack.  Previous years have included entries such as deep fried butter.

The fair runs between Sept. 28 and Oct. 21 and attracts an estimated three million people each year.
