Dementia advocate speaks on his own diagnosis, bringing awareness through nonprofit organization
June was Alzheimer's Awareness Month, and since then, strides have been made in research and treatment for the disorder. Steve Barbieri, vice president and co-founder of the National Council of Dementia Minds, joined CBS News Detroit to talk about the organization and his own diagnosis of dementia.
