It will help that Verlander has more support from his staff (and bullpen) this season.
Every fan knows about Verlander and his orange Lamborghini, the Ferraris and Porsches. But he's lusting after something closer to home.

The 2,600 square foot house has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths.
"Starting pitching, we can say we're happy with the way it is right now."
"Last year the pitching really was self-explanatory; it was horrible."
"We are very comfortable with his durability moving forward."
If those walls could talk.
One twitter user equated Verlander congratulating the Pistons on their hot start as the reason why the former Cy Young winner doesn't have a World Series ring.
She has certainly jinxed his wardrobe.
It's October and where else would the Detroit Tigers star pitcher be but in the Big Apple with Kate Upton.
He served as the Phillies' major league pitching coach for nine seasons, leading a staff that included Cliff Lee, Roy Halladay and Cole Hamels.
Jones was named to the position in July of 2011, and saw both Justin Verlander and Max Scherzer win the American League Cy Young Award in 2011 and 2013, respectively, under his watch.
In a photo posted by the 'Funny People' producer, Judd Apatow, showed himself, Verlander, Upton, Sandler, Andy Dick, David Spade and Leslie Mann all hanging out.
"I always said your true self comes out when things don't go well," Avila said.
