Zetterberg: League Should Have Suspended Weber

--The NHL's decision to not suspend Nashville's Shea Weber might have led to a rash of violence in the playoffs, according to Detroit's Henrik Zetterberg.

"It could be true," Zetterberg said. "I think the league had a pretty good opportunity in Game 1 to set the bar, and I guess they did. There (have) been a few incidents after that."

Many feared the league opened a can of worms with its slap on the wrist to Weber ($2,500 fine, the maximum allowed under the Collective Bargaining Agreement) after he drove Zetterberg's head into the glass at the end of the series opener. It appears to have started a chain reaction of cheap shots.
