Ypsilanti Police Investigate Fatal Shooting

YPSILANTI (WWJ) - Police in Ypsilanti are investigating a deadly shooting.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. Thursday on Monroe Avenue not far from I-94 and S. Huron Street.

Circumstances surrounding the shooting weren't immediately released.

The victim has not yet been identified.

More details are expected to be released Friday.

An investigation is ongoing.
