YouTube Sensation Christopher Duffley To Sing In West Bloomfield

He's blind, autistic and has a voice that can make grown men cry.
That's the voice of Christopher Duffley, he's become a YouTube sensation, especially after singing to a group of Teamsters in Las Vegas back in 2011.
He has trouble communicating when speaking, but his mom, Christine Duffley, discovered Christopher has a unique gift.
"Music therapist told us that Christopher has the gift of perfect pitch. This really helped us to understand the autism. Opportunities opened up, a public school teacher taught him the national anthem and that led to opportunities with the Red Sox and Nascar." Yes, he sang the national anthem for the Boston Red Sox.
Christopher Duffley says when he sings, he "sees" with his heart. "I'm encouraging people to see with their hearts and not with their eyes, not worrying what they see with their eyes to get it in your heart to God," added Duffley.
Christopher is coming to the Metro Detroit area Tuesday at 7 p.m. for a special concert with the Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield.
The performance is slated for the Berman Theatre located at 6600 W Maple Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48322 on the grounds of the Jewish Community Center.
