Charges Filed In Homeless Man's Death
HOWELL (AP) - Two people have been charged with murder in the death of a homeless man whose body was discovered a year ago along a rural road in Livingston County.
The body of 70-year-old Clarence Hines was found last April in Conway Township, about 35 miles east of Lansing. Authorities announced charges Monday against Mitchell Hall and Antoinette Hix.
No motive was disclosed during a news conference by the Livingston County prosecutor and sheriff, although Hall knew Hines through their time together at homeless shelters. The names of defense attorneys assigned to the case were not immediately known.
Hines' cause of death was hypothermia and blunt force trauma.
